Thank you for your interst in the New Mexico Volunteers for the Outdoors. Your membership dues help to support the many projects that the NMVFO will do this year.

The NMVFO is an all-volunteer organization. We have no paid members. Nevertheless it still cost between $12,000 & $16,000 a year to organize and execute the 30+ projects that we do each year.

Our work directly benefits the many federal, state and local agencies that the NMVFO partners with each year. Upwards of 7,000 hours of quality volunteer work is donated during NMVFO projects each year.

Corporate Partnerships

Businesses wishing to partner with the NMVFO to help improve recreation areas ikn New Mexico can become a Corporate Partner for $250.00 per year. Businesses may sponsor a particular project or contribure to outr general fun. For more information contact Bill Velasquez (bvelasquez@gardnerzemke.com)

Find Out What We're All About

Our general membership meetings are held at the The Courtyard @ Cutler, 2403 San Mateo, NE on the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00 PM. Turn west on Prospect, just north of I-40. We meet in the meeting room at the east end of the Courtyard @ Cutler complex. Come and see what the NMVFO is about. This is a great opportunity to meet project leaders and get the latest information about upcoming projects. We often show slides of recently completed projects, host guest speakers and serve refreshments. If you haven’t attended one of our projects before, this will give you a good idea of who we are and what to expect on a work project. All our meetings are open to the public.
