This project is located in the Blue Range Wilderness of the Glenwood Ranger District on the New Mexico/Arizona border. We will be doing general trail maintenance including tread work, signage, rock cairns, clearing of brush and dead falls. We will be camping at the Pueblo Park Campground at the wilderness boundary. The campground is located at 6000 feet elevation in a ponderosa pine grove. The weather can be quite cool in April at night and very warm during the day. Please bring layered clothing and sunscreen. VFO will provide meals beginning with Friday dinner and continuing through lunch on Monday. Anyone wishing to volunteer for cooking duties please contact the leader.

To reach Pueblo Park from the north, travel south on I-25 to Socorro, turn west on US Hwy 60 for 62 miles to Datil, turn south on NM Hwy 12, and continue 74 miles to US Hwy 180 (watch for a right turn in Reserve). Drive south on Hwy 180 for approximately 5 miles to the Pueblo Park campground turn off on your right (County Road 13). Continue 7 miles to the campground. From the south, take US Hwy 180 north from Silver City; the Pueblo Park turnoff is about 25 miles north of Glenwood.
